Jean Westerne Joseph is originally from Haiti born from a Christian family and married to Dieudonné F. Joseph. He is the founder of the mission Assemblée de la Grâce, which today has 30 churches in different cities in Haiti. He is also the founder of the primary school Lascahobas and an orphanage in this same city close to the Dominican Republic. He has also planted a Church in the Florida State in USA and now the Centre d’adoration de la Grâce in Montreal.

The Lord has called him in 1983. In this same year God has led him to the Theological Seminary of Haiti and in 1988 to the Caribeen Christ for the Nation in Jamaica.

In 1990 God asked him to leave his own city to go and plant in Lascahobas and he began the first celebration with five adults and 11 children.

In 2008, because of the political crises and persecution, he had to leave this Church which was close to 500 members.

Today, Westerne continue to work among the Haitian community in Québec, where there is over 80,000 Haitians. Westerne and Dieudonne are working mainly with the new comers who often have left their faith and with those who don’t know Christ yet.

Westerne is the father of five children.
