Regional Director
British Columbia & Yukon

Kris and Susie have been married 22 years. Together they are treasuring and training up their six wild and wonderful children as missionaries in the heart of Vancouver. Their home serves as a safe-house for at-risk youth, and a safe-baby home through the foster-care system. Other members of the family include 'Cassie the missionary dog' and her offspring.

In 2008, Kris & Susie responded to God’s Jeremiah 29 call to embed their family and plant an urban church. With the support of the BCMB, C2C network, and Westside Church, Reality Vancouver church was established in Vancouver’s eastside in 2009. By grace, Reality has become a diverse, faithful, apprentice-making expression of the church, marked by Gospel-fluency, Gospel-mission, Spirit-empowerment and the desire to equip and encourage the way of Jesus in everyday life. Reality has served as a C2C network apprentice church and has supported church plants in downtown Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, and East Berlin.

As BC Regional Director for C2C network, Kris brings a passion for church-planting, missional-clarity, gospel-fluency & Spirit-dependance to his role as mentor and mobilizer. He is convinced that the counter-cultural way of Jesus and the church’s posture of courageous weakness will be a prophetic witness to a culture searching for meaning, hope and truth. While currently embedded in the city, Kris grew up in BC’s Interior and Kootenay’s. His heart is to see unprecedented kingdom growth and human flourishing throughout the province; in small towns, regional cities, indigenous communities, and urban centres.

Kris holds undergraduate degrees in Urban Missiology & Life Sciences (Azusa Pacific), and earned a Masters in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of Arrow Leadership.
